Speechless. Really.

Anticipation

Goodbye Satio, Hello iPhone.
Yes, I've fallen prey to iPhone Apps,
despite waiting for 1 year plus for the launch of Satio.
To be honest, Satio's only good for its 12 MegaPix cam.
Other than that, I hate the symbian OS & the messaging interface.
Besides, I hardly see anyone using Satio.
Over-rated? I guess so. Not going to take any risk.

Gonna pwn the Apps when I get my iPhone next month.
Yayness to entertainment on the go!
And the reason why I'm forsaking Satio's 12 MegaPix cam
is because I'm eyeing a DSLR.
I want only the best.
All the expensive hobbies. My goodness.
Going broke soon at this rate.

Unexpected

Today was an emotional day.
I didn't sleep a wink yesterday &
was quite worried about the TP test today.
To make things worse,
the warm up test was quite screwed
& I wasn't really confident of passing.

But yet, the result was totally unexpected.
I pwned my TP test with 0 demerit points.
OMG. Totally unbelievable!!!
I think luck was on my side today.
Everything went well.
And the tester today was so much nicer compared to other shit guy.

My eyes went wet today when I saw the result slip.
Not cuz I passed at last,
but because I know my prayers were answered.

Updates on life so far:
1a) FOS mahjong was screwed & Irish Cream was the alleged culprit.
We need a rematch soon to recoup the losses.

1b) Dinner at Crystal Jade Holland V was amusing.
We stuffed ourselves silly with Xiao Long Baos &
'someone' threw the unwanted Nissin noodles underneath the seat. (Tsk tsk)

2. School's getting a lil busy, with prelims & revisions coming up.

3. TP Re-test next week. I hope I'm not the next Bor Bor.

I'm still in denial that we're actually in 2010.
Time seems to pass extremely fast &
it's going to be CNY next month.
Looking forward to more Moolahs,
mahjong sessions & the family picnic trip to Sentosa.

2010 has gotta be better then 2009,
at least that's what I hope.
Looking forward to the second half of 2010 cuz...

1. It's the end of Uni (mixed feelings cuz it means the start of working life)
2. Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows out in November
3. US Grad trip (this is my main motivation for 2010.)

Magical Tours Internship Competition Application Guidelines

Candidates for the position of summer intern for the 2010 Harry Potter tours must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age by June 15, 2010
• Be available for full time participation with all three tours - June 12 through July 22, 2010
• Have extensive knowledge of all things Harry Potter - books and movies
• Be physically and emotionally able to handle a very busy tour schedule and long hours
• Be available for pre-tour coordination, promotions, and planning by phone & e-mail
• Must provide all necessary documentation (valid passport, photograph, contact information, work/school history, and references if required.
• May be residents of any country, but must be fluent in English.

This is not just an extended free tour.
The selected intern will be expected to undertake specific assigned tasks in advance of and throughout the tours, and will learn about the travel/tour business including behind- the-scene operations. The intern will learn about travel in England and Scotland, and will be given an extensive running orientation covering British history, culture, and geography. Students studying in related fields are invited to inquire to their college course administrators to see if special studies credit is possible.

The selected candidate will receive round-trip airfare from their departure city, plus all expenses paid during the tours and for the periods between tours. In addition the intern will receive a cash stipend for spending money to be determined by performance during the tours. Air travel arrangements may be planned so the intern can include pre- and/or post-tour personal travel in the UK or Europe, so long as it does not interfere with the established tour schedule.
