New Acad Year

It's a new acad year in a few days time.
I'm not the least excited about going back to school.
The only relief I get is that I'm not in the same lectures as some people.
How nice. Some peace at last.
I hope summer comes fast to put an end to this horrendous year of school.
On the bright side,
I've got almost a week long of X'mas break.
It'll be great to go for yet another holiday.
Anyone has any nice suggestions?

Spa session again this week. Ultimate shiokness. =D

o.O?

Local students will need to tap their attendance from 29 September onwards.
This is for contact tracing purpose.
You are not required to meet any minimum attendance requirement.
The attendance rate is for local students to monitor their own attendance.

Why go thru all the hassle when it's not even of any use??
This is why I think school's shit.
Downright stupid.
Cheater sch. Scam $$ to implement this kinda stuff.

HK: The Aftermath

Back in SG, finally.
The 6 days in HK was really adventurous.
Details as follow:

1. Arrival @ HK:
We literally walked down the plane at HK airport.
No aerobridge cuz it's budget air.
Just like how we get on TigerAir in SG.
But they did provide shuttle bus to the immigration instead.
Clearing of customs was super fast (less than 15minutes).
Airport Express to town took only about 25 minutes?

2. Hotel Panorama (TST):
Very modern hotel. Design & facilities quite atas.
I like the Sky Garden on the 40th floor.
Stunning view of the entire Victoria Harbour.
Rooms are generally small.
But we've got big flat screen TV, in room safe and partial harbour view.
Service was great & they speak very decent English.
Excellent place with great location.

3. The Weather:
Pretty cranky. There was strong gales, heavy rains, super hot weather,
haze that cover the entire harbour and not to mention, 2 typhoons.
Totally insane. Certainly not the best season to visit HK.

4. Shopping:
Didn't buy that much as compared to my previous trips.
Summer sales just ended before my trip.
And the typhoon made things worse.
Got stuck inside the hotel because it wasn't safe to go out. =X

5. Peak:
The double decker open top bus to the Peak was interesting.
Similar to our hippo tour & it offers great view around Central.
Peak tram ride was fun cuz we're travelling on slope of 45 degrees.
The Peak offers panoramic view of the city. Very stunning.
Totally mesmerizing. Wax museum was also great place to camwhore.

6. Disney:
Everything in Disney was totally magical.
The Disney express was really super cute.
The characters were fun loving.
Some of the rides were kiddy though.
And there's lots of MIC everywhere.
Super irritating & sickening.
The typhoon spoilt everything cuz the park closed early.
Thank god we bought the 2 day pass.
And we visited Disney again the next day.

Super long post. Still resizing my photos.
We took like about 5oo+ pics?
Visuals up soon.

21

I don't need a big party with fancy deco,
large crowd of random A,B,C, D people,
truck loads of prezzies or
a large big cake.
I'd prefer quality rather than quantity.

And because it's 21,
it's got to be big shot.
3 consecutive days of feasting &
6 lovely days of partying & shopping in HK.
While others simply celebrate their bday with 1 party,
I choose to spread the joy out.
This way, I'll have 9 days of sweet memories,
rather than 1 day worth of memory.
This is why I'm me.
And this is why I'm unique.

All Safe

D-day wasn't as bad as expected.
I passed all my modules,
but not with flying colours though.
Had 1 big surprise for HRM (2nd Upper Clz).
Was expecting to only scrape through.
Cuz my prelims grade was a border line pass,
despite the fact that it was open book.
Overall, results were satisfactory.
I can now celebrate my bday & hols in peace.
Yeah. =D

*Disclaimer:
My results were based solely on my own efforts.
The bloody HR lecturer did not help a bit.
His notes & research papers were totally useless
& only intensified global warming & deforestation.
And the bloody ah kuah was a useless whimp.
He was petrified by a cockroach 1 lecture
that he ran to the other end of the LT to escape it.
WTF. So much for boasting about his wealth of experience.

D-Day!

"Dear Student,
UOL is releasing the exam results online!
UOL has informed us that the May/June '09 exam results will be released via a UOL secured website on 1 September 2009 (London time). "
OMG!!!!
Hope I can pass every module &
be able to celebrate my birthday & hols in peace.
Bless my tiny soul. =X

Uninvited

I hate prats who turn up uninvited.
If this was an attempt to spring a surprise for the host,
I think they've succeeded & it's something unpleasant.
They just don't realise the fact that they're uninvited for some very obvious reason.
And they still shamelessly turn up without bothering to inform the host.
Complete gits.
Don't ever try pulling this stunt on me.
I'll rip your head off if you try it.

Knotty

For the 1st time ever,
I do not wish for summer to end.
Because the end simply signifies the start of a new term;
Yet another horrendous year in the ruddy school.
And for the 1st time ever,
I'm actually looking forward to next summer.
Because it's putting a stop to the worst period of my life;
The end of uni life.
Very knotty issue.
I've got a love hate relationship with summer.
